I did a little hiking along the trails at Chalk Ridge Falls Park which is located just below the Dam on Stillhouse Lake near Belton, Texas. There's approximately 5 miles of trails located there but I didn't hike more than a mile. I was actually there as part of a photo shoot rather than a day of hiking. But the place looked really cool and it's relatively close to home so I'm sure I'll be back there often. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed getting out in the woods. Life is better outdoors!
Here's a great article written by the Austin Explorer detailing his experience at the Falls. If you have the time, it's worth the read. And if you're in the area, Chalk Ridge Falls is worth the visit.
I am an amateur photographer and I love taking photos of the Texas outdoors. In order to do that I've got to put on some hiking boots and get out into the Texas country side. I hope my stories and photographs will help you understand what a wonderful and beautiful place Texas really is.
NOTICE I am very proud of the photos I take and I have posted them here on this site for your enjoyment only. You may copy these for personal use as long as they are not altered. All other uses are not authorized unless explicitly granted by me in writing.
