The mutual funds have also sold off their losing positions so they won't have to show those positions on the quarterly reports to shareholders. Any extra money they may have they are investing in their winners. This lack of overall sellers amidst normal buyers is generally what I believe propels the Santa Claus Rally in the first place.
Barring any special events that occur in the stock market or any periods of extreme boredom on my part over the holiday period, I expect to do minimal postings. I wish everyone the best during these last few days of Hanukkah and this week's celebration of Christmas.
