Four Agricultural Chemicals Cos

4/16/2015

Agricultural chemicals companies, or agrochemical companies, are part of the Basic Materials sector of the economy that is involved in a broad range of pesticides, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and nematicides. These companies may also include synthetic fertilizers, hormones and other chemical growth agents, and concentrated stores of raw animal manure.

The following four companies are considered agricultural chemicals companies but they are very much more. So much so that they're not easily comparable. Each one has its strengths and its weaknesses in different areas. Although the information below is simply an overview of the fundamentals of the each of the companies, the information may be a nice starting point for further research. I think there might just be a couple of gems here that could provide an investor with a nice return on his investment.

I am an Individual Investor with specific interest in long term growth and then enhancing my returns with income from dividends and derivatives. I don't recommend stocks to anyone (it's a good way to lose friends) and no one reading this should misinterpret my blog as a recommendation for any type of investment. I am writing this solely for myself and my kids.
