Screening for Large Cap Two Percenters

3/2/2015

Two of the most fertile methods for finding new candidates for consideration and possible accumulation are stock screeners and company press releases announcing increases in dividends paid. I like both methods and I use both methods. And they each have identified excellent opportunities which I have fortunately taken advantage of over the years.

Below is a list of the twenty largest market capitalization companies that pay a dividend of at least two percent plus have positive earnings expectations for not only next year but the next five years as well. These are all great companies but I'm not suggesting that these are automatic buying opportunities because so much more information is needed to make that kind of decision. They are, however, a nice list of companies that are worthy of additional investigation.

While most investors will know exactly who these companies are, some may not. Therefore, immediately following the list is a short description of each company along with a few links to assist myself and other investors in continuing to conduct additional research.
